You can now assign Groups and Labels directly from internal forms. This feature helps your team categorize contacts and companies while submitting or editing a form, without needing to update records separately in the CRM.

What this feature does

When enabled, users completing an internal form can:

  • Assign one or more Groups to the main contact.
  • Add one or more Labels to the related company record.

This allows your team to categorize records directly within the form submission or when editing an existing submission, ensuring accurate and consistent CRM data.

How to enable

  1. Go to Forms and create or edit a form.
  2. Open the Form Settings panel.
  3. Scroll to the Internal Categorization section.
  4. Enable the options you want:
    1. Allow Group Assignment (Internal Only)
    2. Allow Label Assignment to Companies (Internal Only)
  5. Click Save & Close.

Note: These options are visible only in internal forms or when editing submissions. They will not appear on publicly shared or embedded forms.

When enabled, you’ll see the Internal Categorization section in your form settings panel as shown below:

After saving, internal form users will see Group and Label fields when submitting the form.

Things to know

  • The Label field only appears if your form includes a Company Name field.
  • The Group field only appears if your form includes a Contact field.
  • When a form with these options is submitted, the selected Groups and Labels automatically sync with the corresponding contact or company in the CRM.
  • These fields are not available on public-facing or embedded forms.

Why it matters

Adding Groups and Labels directly from internal forms helps streamline workflows and maintain accurate record categorization in the CRM. It saves time, reduces manual data entry, and ensures every submission is properly classified from the start.
