How to fix the Google error message that says "This app is blocked"

This article provides instructions on how to resolve the Google error message "This app is blocked" when attempting to connect your email account to TIEIT. These steps must be performed by the administrator of your organization's Google Workspace.

Steps to Fix "This App is Blocked" Error


1. Access Google Workspace Admin Dashboard

  • Navigate to your Google Workspace Admin dashboard.


2. Find API Controls

  • Use the search bar at the top to search for "API controls" and select the option nested under "Security".


3. Manage Third-Party App Access

  • Click on "Manage Third-Party App Access" located on the right side of the page.


4. Search for TIEIT

  • In the search bar, enter "TIEIT" to find the app.


5. Change Access Settings

  • Click on "Change Access".


6. Set Access to Trusted

  • Select "Trusted" and submit the changes.
