How do I create an email template in Automations?
You can create an email template through the Automation module’s email builder. Some ways you can use an email template in Automations include:
- Sending a customized email to confirm a form submission
- A drip campaign
- Send an email when a contact gets added to a group on TIEIT
To learn how to create an email template, please follow the instructions below.
1. Click the Automations module on the left panel. Hover over the Email library tab on the top menu. Click the Add Email Template button.
2. Drag and drop the email blocks you would like to include in your email template. Click the continue button when done.
3. Enter the details of your email. You can also edit areas of the email blocks that you have added to your email template. If you click blocks such as a photo block, you will see options like the option to replace the photo or link a block.
On the top of the editing area, you will also see a formatting toolbar where you can edit text and add attachments.
Below you will see the option to send a test email to yourself or other team members who use TIEIT.
Click the save button when you are done editing.
If you need to edit, clone or delete an email template, you can do this by going to the Automations Email Library. You can access this when you are in the Automations module and selecting the Email Library tab on the top menu bar. If you hover over an email template, you will see icons with these options.
