The Activity dashboard is the central place that outlines all activities that are assigned to you and your team. Most users start their day and manage their day solely from the Activity dashboard. This may not work with your workflow but it is a good place to start to see what activities you have for today, ones that are overdue and upcoming. The goal of this guide is to show you all the features that the Activity Dashboard offers to help you manage your day and activities efficiently while providing you with actionable insights.

The activity dashboard has a lot of features to help you get the most out of your day and ensure that tasks that are most important are being actioned.
The following section will go over the main features on the activity dashboard.

Use this dropdown to access saved views. Views represent saved state of how you want to view the activity dashboard. It will save the filters applied, number of records, calendar or listing option, and preferred sorting. You can save as many views as you like and also define your default view. You are also provided with 10 saved views. The default Activity dashboard view list your activities due today and any overdue activities. In this article, we will also show you how to make a view a default view, save a new view and rename / delete an existing view.

The search bar helps you search for a specific activity.

Use this to sort your activities based in Ascending or Descending order based on the activity due date.

The number of activities loaded per page. Keep in mind that the more activities that are loaded, it may impact the loading time of the page.

Bulk action select box. Click on this to bulk select all activities that are viewed. Once an activity is selected by using the bulk select option or individually by clicking on the activity icon, additional options will be available: Delete and Clear Google Calendar Events.

- Advanced filter options. Click on this icon to see all the filter options. We will go over all the filter options in detail below. Once a filter is applied, you will have the option to update the current view or save it as a new view.

- See Activity insights. From Deals that have no engagement in the last 30 days to overdue activities related to deals and reports on how many activities have been completed.
- Check your availability. It is very useful when you are on a call or planning a meeting to quickly click on this option to see what your availability looks like. Click into a time to Add an Activity.
2.0 Views
When the activity dashboard is filtered and the data is sorted in a specific way, that can be saved. Saved views will save the filter conditions, number of records per page, and sorting preference.
Views are accessible by opening your Activities Dashboard (CRM > Activities) and clicking on the dropdown arrow at the top left (see screenshot below).
Clicking on the x within the dropdown will load the default view.
2.1 Predefined Views
You will be provided predefined views of common conditions to help you get started. The section will go over the predefined views.

My Overdue Activities | Lists all of your overdue activities. |
My Open Activities for the next 30 days | Lists your activities that are open and due within the next 30 days. The next 30 days date filter is relative so even if it is saved, it will base the report from 12:00 AM on the day the report is run and continues for 30 days. |
My Activities Today | Lists your open and closed activities that are due today. |
My Open Activities Today and Overdue | Lists all of your open activities that are due today and that are overdue. This is the standard view unless another view is made default. |
My Activities Tomorrow | Lists your open activities assigned to you that are due tomorrow. Starts at 12:00 AM on the day after the current day and continues for 24 hours. |
My Activities Tomorrow and Overdue | Lists your activities due tomorrow and that are overdue. |
My Next 7 Days | Lists your activities that are due within the next seven days. It will include activities from the day the report is run and continues for 6 days. (The range includes today.) |
My Next 7 Days and Overdue | Lists your activities that are due within the next seven days (including today) and activities that are overdue. |
My Activities This Week |
Lists your activities that are due for the current week. It will list activities that start on the first day of the current week at 12:00 AM and continues for seven days. |
My Activities This Week and Overdue | Lists your activities that are due this week and that are overdue. |
The above predefined views cannot be renamed or deleted, however, you can modify the views by changing the filters and saving the view under a new name. Views must have unique names.
2.2 Creating, Updating, Renaming and Deleting Views
When a filter is applied on the Activity dashboard or you load one of your own custom view from the Activity Dashboard view dropdown, a more menu () option will appear next to the view name.
Clicking on the more menu will provide the following options: Update Current View, Rename Current View, Delete Current View, Set as Default View.

Save Current View As |
When a new view is customized (or a predefined view is customized), this option will allow you to save the view. |
Update Current View |
If the view has been modified (change in filter, list or calendar view, sorting), then clicking on this option will save the view to the modified version. Predefined views cannot be updated but when a predefined view is modified (filter modified from the default one), then use the Save Current View As option to save the modified view if it is something you will want to use later. |
Rename Current View |
Any custom views that have been saved can be renamed. Predefined views cannot be renamed. |
Delete Current View |
Delete a view that you created. Predefined views cannot be deleted. |
Set as Default View | Allows you to define the default view that should load when the Activity Dashboard loads. You can set a predefined view to be the default view or any view that you create. |
3.0 Filters
The Activity Dashboard offers a lot of filter options to help you segment your data easier. Clicking on the filter icon will show expand the filter options. Clicking on the filter icon again will hide the filter options.

Clicking on the filter icon will show the filter options. When filters are shown, clicking on the icon will hide the options. Hiding the filters will not apply any of the filters that are applied unless submit is clicked.

Clicking on submit will filter the activity data based on the filters that have been applied.

Clear filter will remove all filters that have been applied and load the default Activity dashboard view.

Turning this toggle on will show activities that are auto-generated by Deal pipelines but have yet to be scheduled. These activities are conditional on previous related activities being completed first before being scheduled.
4.0 Calendar View
Calendar View allows you to view all of your activities using in a month view. Click on the Calendar icon at the top to switch to calendar view.
Note: Any views that are saved from the Calendar view with filters applied will load the calendar view if that same Activity Dashboard view is selected.

From Calendar view, you can switch from Month view to Week and Day Views. Filters applied in the list view will remain when you switch to the Calendar view and vice versa. Activities in red indicate that it is an overdue activity.

Indicates the Activity Status
5.0 My Availability
Clicking on this icon will open a side pane showing your availability. Your availability will be based on activities that have been created, scheduled from your scheduling calendar by contacts or events that have been synced in from your Google or Microsoft calendars.
Clicking on the My Availability icon will open today's date. Use the dates above to switch between dates. Clicking into an available time slot will bring up the add activity pop-up to add an activity.
