You may be wondering how Categories will help simplify your social activity. The use of social categories will help you be consistent in sharing valuable content to your audience.
You will be able to create categories as well as create a schedule for each one of your categories. For example, every Monday at 2 PM, I will post content from my Evergreen category. Every Tuesdays at 9 AM, I will post content from my Quotes for Success category.
The options are as big as your creativity.
As entrepreneurs, social media managers and marketers, we all run into the weeks where we do not have time to create posts for the upcoming week. That’s where Categories shine. If there are no new posts, then you can set Categories to repost an old Post based on date or engagement level.
To Manage your Categories,
- Click the “Social Settings” button in the top blue bar and click on Manage Categories.
- You will find a white box to your right, in which you can add a new category by typing your category name, and choose whether you want to share with all of your profiles or just one. Then save your category.
Remember you can add as many categories as you wish.
Modifying, Scheduling and Deleting Categories,
You can change and schedule your category by hovering over the three dots to the far right of one of the existing categories,
You have three options:
- Schedule
- Edit
- Delete
