Receive notifications when your emails are opened or when a link in your email is clicked on. This article will walk you through configuring your notification settings and then will show you how to turn on email tracking when sending an email.
- Go to your Settings
- On the left menu, click on Notification Settings
- Click on the edit icon under CRM Notifications
- Once in edit mode, there are three options that are available.

Notify me right away when a contact opens an email.
NOTE: If the recipient is loading emails in plain-text format or does not load any images by default, then the email tracking will not work. This is common across all platforms when it relates to email tracking.

Notify me right away when a contact clicks on a link in an email.
When this option is clicked on, then when a recipient clicks on any link in an email, then a notification will be sent to you.

Notify me right away for the first time when a contact opens an email/clicks a link in email.
When this option is on, then the notification email will only be sent the first time a user opens an email or clicks on a link in an email.
- Click on the Save button to save the selections.
Once you have the notifications turned on, you have the option to indicate which emails should be tracked. When sending an email from TIEIT, the email tracking will have to be turned on. Click here to learn how to turn on tracking for an email you are sending out.
NOTE: There is an option to turn on email tracking for all emails by default by going to your Mailbox Settings > Email Sync and toggling on the Default mail tracking option.
