1.0 Overview of the Grid
The TieiT Grid is a powerful data analysis tool that gives you the flexibility to structure and visually see data the way that makes sense to you.
The grid is at the heart of TieiT’s data movement since it centralizes features of listing, data manipulation, and visualization all from one place.
The quick video in this section will go over all of the highlights and the in this article, the important features available with the grid will be covered. We will go over the features shared by all the grids in TieiT's CRM.
Differentiating between the grid and a regular table
The TIEIT grid has a few visual identifiers to distinguish it from standard tables (screenshot below).

The following image is a screenshot of a typical grid in TIEIT. All grids share similar functionality to bring advanced reporting to your listing views. The column options will vary depending on the listing page.The (*) on the grid image will identify some of the unique visual properties that distinguish the grid from other tables within TieiT.

2.0 Grid Features
Use the grid to generate various reports and quickly see the overall health of your business and drill down to get more details. The ease of use makes the learning curve short however the flexibility it offers makes it compelling to generate various tabular visualizations. Once you make your report, you have options to save it as a view for quick reference next time.

The TIEIT grid allows you to easily group data by dragging a column to the teal area.![]() The flexibility of the TIEIT grid allows for the column not to be visible after the data is grouped. This helps to keep the reports more efficient by allowing you to see only the data you need at the same time, keeping the aggregation active. |

Filter Data |
Filter data to find the information you are looking for. Start by clicking on the menu icon of the column you want to filter data on ( ) and scroll down to Filter option. Now you can select the filter logic (more details to follow). The grid allows for two filters to be applied per column.
Note: Some Filter logic may not be available for all columns.

Select the number of records you want to see by scrolling to the bottom of the grid and selecting from the dropdown.
Note: The more records that are selected, the slower the loading time.

3.0 Saving Views / Reports
By using the features described in the previous section ( 2.0 Grid Features), you are able to quickly and easily create powerful reports which are often referred to as Views. Views can help you visualize data on the listing pages with grids in the way that is useful to you and by doing so, quickly and easily derive insights.
Views can be private or made public to share with your team.
All listing pages in TIEIT come with a Standard View that is system generated. If you want to clear all applied filters, the easiest thing to do is to select the Standard View.
All saved views can be found within a dropdown on the top right corner of the grid.
Click on the grid more dropdown to select from a saved view or to select the Standard View.
3.1 Saving a View
After creating a customized view on the grid, you can save the view by clicking on the grid more menu.
Click on the grid more menu (annotated in the screenshot above) and click on the <strong>Saved Current View As</strong>. If you are editing an existing view and you should use the Update Current View feature. The Rename Current View option will allow you to rename the previously saved view.

Enter the name of the view.

Select if the view should be private (only accessible by you) or public which will give access to the view to all of your team members.

Define if the view is the default view. Only one view can be defined as the default view. When a default view is defined, that view will load first when the listing page is opened.
3.2 Creating a Default View
When saving a new view, click on the Default checkbox to make the view saved. If a view has already been created, click on the grid more menu and select the Update Current View option.
3.3 Rename a View
To rename a previously saved view, select the view from the View dropdown menu. Then click on the grid more menu and select the Rename View option.
3.4 Deleting a View
To delete a previously saved view, click on the more grid menu option and select the Delete View option.
