How can I send a form confirmation email after a TIEIT form is submitted?

You can automatically send a text-based confirmation email or thank you message once a contact submits a form from TIEIT’s form module. If you would like to send a confirmation email that has a design, you can create one using the Automations email builder. 

For example, a confirmation email can be useful if you would like to automatically send a message to a potential client to let them know that someone from your team will be in touch with them shortly after they fill out a contact form that you have created on TIEIT. Confirmation emails can be added to any TIEIT form.

How to Send a Text-based Form Completion Confirmation Email Through TIEIT Forms

1. On the Forms module. Select the name of the form you would like to add the confirmation email to.

2. Click the Setting tab. Click the Confirmation Emails button on the left side panel. Toggle on the toggle located in the Turn On Confirmation Emails to Form Submitters section.

3. Edit the message, the subject line and any other details in the confirmation email. Click the save button when done.

How to Send an Email Template as a Confirmation Email When a Contact Submit a TIEIT Form

1. Click the Automation icon on the left side panel. When you enter the Automation page, hover over the Email Library tab on the top menu bar. Select Add Email Template.

2. Drag-and-drop the blocks you would like to include to your confirmation email. Click the continue button when done.

3. Add the name of your email template on the first text box on the left side panel. In this area, you can also edit the subject line of the email and the sending details.

On the right. You can click a block to add links to certain blocks, replace the image on an image block, delete a block, and edit the text for text blocks. There is also a formatting toolbar on the top to add attachments using the paperclip icon, bold text, link text and more.

You can also send a test email to team members using TIEIT. The button is located at the bottom. 

Click the save button when done.

Once saved, when you enter the Automation Email Library, you can preview, edit, clone and delete the email template.

4. Go back to the Automations page. Click the green + Automation button on the top right of the page.

5. Name your automation. Select Start from Scratch.

6. Click the Define Your Automation section. This allows you to set the trigger for this automation.

7. Select the Form icon and then select the form you would like to send the email to contacts to when they complete the specific form. Click the save button.

8. Next select the Send Email icon. This allows you to set the action that takes place once the user submits the form.

9. Select your email. Click the save button. 

10.Turn on your automation by clicking the toggle button. If the automation is not turned on, the email will not send to the form submitter once the form is complete.
