How to Use the Grid
Grid Views are a powerful tool on TIEIT that can help you view specific data for Contacts, Companies, Transactions and Deals by selecting from pre-defined data fields. When you select a data field you wish to view, you can group, filter and sort the data. Grid Views are available on all TIEIT listing pages.
Grid Views are a great way to create quick reports for Contacts and/or Companies. You can also save these reports to view them at a later date. Here are some areas you can customize on a listing page by using Grid Views.
Filter Data on a Column
You can add columns with certain criteria and add filters if you wish to only see certain information on a listing page. For example, you may want to view only contacts that are part of a group. Here are some steps you can follow to achieve this.
1. Select the deal listing page you want to filter or add columns. In this example, Contacts on the CRM has been selected.
2. Scroll down to the listing page and click on the icon with the 3 lines on the column you wish to filter. In this example, we are filtering the Source column.
3. You will see the option to filter this column. Select your filter. Click the filter button.
Add a Column
If you do not see certain data on your listing page, you can add any predefined field available on a listing page. To do this, follow the steps below.
1. Select the icon with 3 lines on any column. A drop down menu will appear below. Hover over the Columns tab. Check the box for any columns you would like to include.
Organize Your Grid View
If you wish to organize columns or how the data is viewed on a listing page, you can click on a column and drag it to where you would like for it to be placed. In the example below, the City column was moved to the first column.
You can also organize the data on the listing page further. On the listing page, there is a green bar where you can drag columns to so that it will filter by that particular column.
In the example below, the Source column was dragged to the green bar. The contacts are now grouped by the type of Source they were associated with. There is also a count that shows how many contacts are associated with that source.
Save Your Listing View Report
You can save your listing view if you wish to view it at a later time. To do this, click the icon with the 3 circles on the top right.
A menu will appear. Select the Save Current View As option.
A bar will then appear on the top. You will be able to enter the name of your saved view, make it the default view, save the view only for your account (private) or make it accessible for all users on your organization’s TIEIT account. Click the Save Report button when you finish editing.
To access the saved view, click the Saved Reports drop down and select the saved view.
