Getting Started with Hosted Forms: Customizing, Sharing, and Styling

TIEIT Hosted forms make it easy to collect information from your contacts—without any extra coding! You can set them up, customize them, and share them with just a few clicks.

How to Customize Your Hosted Form

To tailor the hosted form to your organization’s branding and needs, you can add a title, a description, and enable your organization's logo. This customization helps in maintaining the professional look and feel of your company’s branding while ensuring form clarity for users.


  1. Open the Form Builder: 
    • Click Forms in the main menu, then select the form you want to work on.
  1. Access Settings: 
    • At the top of the page, click the Settings tab.
  1. Edit Hosted Form Page Properties: 
    • In the Form Builder Settings, you’ll find an option for "Hosted Form Page Properties". Here, you can:
      • Title: Enter a title for your form which will be displayed at the top of the hosted form page.
      • Description: Provide a description of what the form is for or instructions — this will appear under the title.
      • Toggle Logo: Switch this ON to display your company’s logo from the company settings.


How to Find and Share Your Hosted Form Link

There are a few ways to retrieve the hosted form link from within TIEIT forms. Over the next few sections, we will go over the three main ways to retrieve the hosed form link.

From the Forms Listing Page:

  1. Go to the Forms Page
    • Open the main menu and select Forms.
  2. Find Your Form
    • Scroll through your list of Active Forms or use the search bar to find the form you need.
  3. Copy the Link
    • Hover over the form’s row and click on the three dots (more options) on the far right. From the dropdown, select the Link Icon to copy the hosted form URL.
      • Look for this icon:
        • Self-hosted Form button

From the Form Builder

From the Form Builder view, click look for the share icon on the bottom toolbar. Click this icon to automatically copy the URL to your clipboard.


From Form Management Settings:

  • Go to Form Management Settings: 
    • Select Your Form: Navigate to your forms dashboard and click on the form you wish to manage. This will take you to the submissions listing for that form.
    • Open Management Settings: Locate and click on the Settings tab within the submissions view. This action will direct you to the Form Management Settings where you can adjust properties such as form status, notifications, and ownership.

  • Navigate to Publish Form Options: Scroll to the section labeled 'Publish Form Options'.
  • Copy the Link: In the 'Share a Link' box, click the copy button to copy the hosted form URL to your clipboard.


By following these steps, you can easily retrieve and share the link to your hosted form, facilitating quick access for users to fill out and submit information as needed.


Styling Your Hosted Form

The visual appearance of your hosted form can be customized via the theme & styles builder in the platform. Any changes made there will be reflected on your hosted form page, ensuring that the form not only functions well but also aligns with your visual brand identity.
