How to Enable MFA on Your TIEIT Account

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your TIEIT account to enhance security. Follow the instructions below to set up MFA using an authentication app like Microsoft Authenticator.

Steps to Enable MFA on Your TIEIT Account

1. Access Your Settings Page

Click on your user icon located at the top right of the page.
Select the Settings button.

2. Navigate to the Security Tab

In the left panel, click on the Security tab.

3. Activate Multi-Factor Authentication

Under the Multi-Factor Authentication section on the right, click the toggle to activate MFA.
Set up MFA using an app like Microsoft Authenticator.

4. Prepare Your Device

Open the authentication app on your device.
On TIEIT, click the Ready to Scan button.

5. Scan the QR Code

Use your device to scan the QR code that appears on the TIEIT page.
Enter the verification code from the app and click the Enable 2FA button.

6. Store Backup Codes

After scanning the QR code and verifying the code, you will receive backup codes.
Write down or copy these codes immediately and store them in a secure location.
