How to Activate Pre-populated Data on Forms
If a contact exists on your TIEIT account and they use the same email when filling out a TIEIT form, they can pre-populate their contact details from TIEIT on to the form to save time. To learn how it works and how to set it up for a form, please view the video and instructions below.

How to Set Up Smart Fill on a Form
- Go to the forms module.
- To the right of the form you would like to apply this to, hover over the icon with the 3 circles and click the pencil icon to edit the form.
- On the form editing page, click the settings button on the bottom right corner.
- Scroll down and check off the Smart Fill option. Click the save and close button at the bottom.
Note: New entries in the form will update existing data. However, the company name, contact's email, comments, and multiple-choice custom fields will remain unchanged. When a new company is added, it's listed additionally and doesn't replace the contact’s primary company.
If you would like form submitter to be able to replace their primary phone number, you can check off the Replace Primary Contact Number option. Click the save and close button when done.
- In the form editing page, hover over the reCAPTCHA field until you see the pencil icon. Click the pencil icon.
- A popup will appear. Enter the label, site key and secret key details. Click save when done. If you do not have these details, please read the next section below.
How to Obtain Your Site Key & Secret Key
1) Go to https://www.google.com/recaptcha/about/
2) Click the V3 Admin Console tab at the top menu bar.
If you have already created site/secret key in the past, you can click the + icon on the top menu bar.
3) Add a label name. For the label name, you can use any name you wish to use to identify the reCaptcha. Add your website domain next and then click the + icon.
Click the check box to agree and then the submit button.
4) You will then be led to the next page. Copy your site key and secret key.
5) You can then go back to your form by going to the forms module and hovering over the icon with the 3 circles to the right of the form. You will then see a pencil icon to edit the form. Click this pencil icon.
6) Hover over the reCAPTCHA field on the form. Click the pencil icon.
7) Enter the label name, site key and secret key. Click the save button when done.
Form Submitter Instructions
- On the TIEIT form, enter the email. After the email is entered, a message will appear below the field.
Note: To pre populate certain data, the form submitter will need to use the primary email that is related to the contact created on TIEIT.
- Select populate existing information. An email will then be sent to them with a four digit code.
- Once the email is received, go back to the form and enter the four digit code in this area. Once confirmed is clicked, certain fields will pre-populate with their contact data.
How Form Submitters Can Have a Code Resent to Them
If the form submitter misplaces the code that was sent to them within the last 60 minutes, they can have another code resent to them. To do this, when they can follow the steps below.
1) Enter their email on the form and follow the steps to retrieve their data.
2) A popup will appear where they can enter the code. In this area, the user can close the popup by clicking the x icon on the top right.
3) On the form, under the email field, they can select the Resend OTP link to have their passcode resent to their email address.
