How to Customize Your Add Contact Popup View

Overview

This article provides a comprehensive guide on how to customize the "Add Contact" popup view in TIEIT. This customization allows you and your team to efficiently collect necessary information about contacts.

Steps to Customize Your Add Contact Popup View

1. Access the Add Contact Popup View Settings


  1. Click your user icon located at the top right of the page.


  2. Select the Settings button.


  1. In the left panel, click the Company Settings tab.


  1. Click CRM Settings and then select Customize Record Layouts.


  1. Click the Add Contact Popup tab.

2. Create a New Add Contact Popup View


  1. Click the + Add View button.


  1. Name your new contact popup view.


  1. Under the Shared With section, select who you would like to share this view with.


  1. If needed, modify who will have this as their default add contact popup view.


  1. Click the Save button to create your new view.

3. Edit Your Add Contact Popup View


  1. Drag-and-drop fields within sections from the left panel to the desired sections.


  1. Search for existing fields in the left panel.


  1. Select different sizes for the popup view and preview them.


  1. Drag-and-drop fields within sections or click the x icon to delete the view from the section. When deleted, the field will move to the left panel.


  1. Add new sections by selecting +Add New Section.


  1. Modify text and layout by clicking the pencil icon that appears when you hover over a section.


4. Manage Existing Add Contact Popup Views


Edit: Click the three circles icon next to the view you want to edit and select Customize View.


Delete: Click the three circles icon next to the view you want to delete and select Delete.


Clone: Click the three circles icon next to the view you want to clone and select Clone.


Deactivate: Click the three circles icon next to the view you want to deactivate and select Deactivate.



Reactivate: Click the three circles icon next to the view you want to reactivate and select Activate.


5. Set Default and Share Views


  1. To make a view the default, click the three circles icon next to the view, select Edit, and choose the users for whom this will be the default view. Click the Save button when done.

  1. To share a view, click the three circles icon next to the view, select Edit, and under the Shared With section, select the users you want to share the view with. Click the Save button when done.


Aside


When on the contact popup view listing page, you will see labels to the right on the add contact popup view name.


Default Label

Your active default view, the add contact popup view that appears when you add a contact on TIEIT, will have the default label.

System View Label

The system view is the original add contact popup view that appears if you do not have a custom view added.




Active View

Views that are active will appear in blue and black text.




Deactivated Views

Deactivated views will have the text appear in gray.
